Annual Giving Campaign

During the past year, YOUR generous contributions allowed AHSF to give over $800,000 to AHISD!  Listed below are some of the significant distributions:

The Alamo Heights School Foundation's Annual Giving Campaign provides support to AHISD in the form of three funding allocations:

Teacher Salaries - annually guarantees AHISD $250,000 to attract and retain exemplary teachers
Grants to Educators- $150,000 distributed to teachers across all campuses for special projects and educational resources
AHSF Endowment Fund - ensures stable private funding for AHISD's educational needs for the future

The Annual Giving Campaign (AGC) focuses on raising funds needed for the current school year to enhance educational resources for the classroom. Without AGC funds, there would be no new musical instruments or literacy intervention software; or high tech digital microscopes for the AHJS science department; or Spanish language science books for Spanish Immersion classes at the elementary schools or the Howard Science Kitchen.

Participation by the AHISD community is critical to the success of the AGC because strong communities grow from good schools. Your participation is vital to the continued success of our school district, its teachers and its students.  Remember, your Annual Giving Campaign donation benefits not only our students and teachers, but our community, enabling us to retain local control of all monies raised.
