  • Bob Ware Memorial Scholarship

Bob Ware was the President of the 1970 AHHS Senior Class. When he died of leukemia in 1969, a scholarship was created in recognition of his contribution to the school and to honor his name. A special review committee nominates and selects the recipient. The recipient for 2018 is Margaret Stell.

  • Oma E. Vordenbaum Scholarship

Since 1978, the Oma E. Vordenbaum Scholarship has helped fund college expenses for qualified graduates of AHHS. Mrs. Vordenbaum taught English and sponsored the Student Council at AHHS. Two $2,000 scholarships are awarded each school year. The AHSF Scholarship Committee of the Resource Allocations Council selects recipients from applications that are submitted.

The 2018 Vordenbaum Scholarship recipients are Lauren Bolish and Patrick Heusinger.
