Alamo Heights School Foundation

About

The Alamo Heights School Foundation’s mission is to mobilize community support for current and long-term strategies that enhance and perpetuate district-wide academic opportunity and excellence for our children.

The Alamo Heights School Foundation raises money to support academic excellence in the Alamo Heights School District. The funds raised by AHSF help ensure that AHISD remains one of the best school districts in the state. Through strategic planning, AHSF and AHISD address evolving educational trends while anticipating future critical needs.

Through the generous contributions of our donors, AHSF funds:

  • Teacher salaries to attract and retain exemplary educators
  • Grants to Educators in reading, science, technology, math and the arts
  • Enhanced classroom and library materials and technology
  • AHISD’s Wellness Program for students and families
  • Workshops for students and teachers
  • Ladensohn Leadership Lecture
  • Specialized educator training and certifications

Established in 1971 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the Alamo Heights School Foundation has provided millions of dollars to benefit students and teachers in AHISD.
