School Funding Education Sessions

Understanding School Funding in Alamo Heights ISD

The Alamo Heights School Foundation invites parents and community members to attend one of three educational sessions this February to learn about school funding in Alamo Heights ISD and its impact on our schools.

Hosted in the homes of AHSF Board members, each session will feature Dr. Dana Bashara, Superintendent of Schools, and an AHISD Trustee, who will explain how public school funding works, where AHISD’s funding comes from, and how it affects students, staff, and programs.

Each session will follow a similar format:

  • 5 minutes – Welcome from the Alamo Heights School Foundation
  • 20–30 minutes – Presentation from AHISD Leadership
  • 15 minutes – Questions and discussion


Sessions are informational and cover the same content. Attendees are welcome to register for any session based on their availability. Select a date below to RSVP for the session you'd like to attend!
